In the early 90’s, our group of college friends tackled the markets head on. We were studying at a very prestigious university, name withheld, and were trading right our of the dorms. We worked a variety of markets; Stocks, Bonds, Futures and Options…having a great deal of success trading each. But when the markets closed every day, we were still hungry for more. The retail Forex world was just beginning to expand and the 24 hour market was appealing. Brokerages were beginning to open their doors to everyday guys looking to take part in changes in world currencies. We pooled our money together, moved all of our computers into one room and split shifts trading the account.

This is probably a stupid question but I don’t want to try online forex trading unless this is answered.
ALL forms of trading involve risk. Trading on the foreign exchange market is EXTREMELY risky unless you have time to make it your FULL TIME job. You can beat 5% annually with SIGNIFICANTLY less risk with a decent mutual fund.
NO ONE make 5% daily on a regular basis.

As forex trading is done online, i would suggests you to check each and every details of the brokers and then only deposit amount for opening an account. The minimum amount required for opening account varies from broker to broker and choose the best one suited for you like I have a trading account with Finexo.com.
Try demos first before opening any account with the brokers and get familiar with the platform.

For stock trading, there’s the virtual stock exchange which is free and damn good. Is there a free, virtual forex trading site?? Any help?
Just open an account with a broker and do your paper trades. Make sure you don’t cheat and trade like real.
Most brokers will offer it.

I have an interest in trading forex as I’m quite good at it. I have tried out easy-forex but don’t like their spreads as they are too wide, I have been practicing using FX Club and have made as much as 500%+ return in a month, but I’m not sure. I have even tried practicing spread betting forex and have made as much as 400%+.
I want to know if there is a better forex broker out there that is a good forex broker that lets you take advantage of up to date news, charts and is easy to use, doesn’t have spreads and charges commisions only. Also one thast can be used by a UK resident. All help would be much appreciated thanks.

you can lose 80% in one day just as easily.
